Emergency response teams received 598 calls for help across the region, mostly for structural issues but also for collapsed vegetation and water accumulation.

At one point on Sunday, more than twenty-eight thousand electricity consumers in Victoria were experiencing outages.

Moist weather were expected to linger along large portions of eastern Queensland this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
Tuesday was expected to become the wettest day, with ongoing storm activity expected across various areas of both areas.

Medical authorities cautioned that there was an higher risk of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, specifically given the current weather patterns.
